Juan Sumulong elementary school, formerly Antipolo school was establish in 1915  the school situated in a 9,900 sq m, lot in Sumulong corner Gen.Luna St.Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City  donated by the late Mr. Justo Marquez in 1915 The Late James O'hara, Gabriel Francisco And  Luis Crisostomo were  the first Teacher of this school. in the first few years,the school was opened for grade 1-IV only then, the school offered grade 7.
       Eventually, the school was held in regular six elementary grade levels. the first commencement exercise was held in 1924. before the second World War II broke out all the municipal buildings, the municipal dispensary The Antipolo Church, and the buildings and 90% of the private residencewere distroyed. These building were rebuild out of the American financial provide in therehabilitation act of 1946.
    The Gabaldon buildings were restraction in 1948.After the war Mr sevirino Francisco supervised the school in the 1960,Congressman Serafin  Salvador of the province  of  Rizal sponsored a bill changing the name of the  school to Juan Sumulong Elementery School in honor of the late Don Juan Sumulong,the foremost state man. The School headed by Lambero San Estaban, Mr. Servilo Cabuatan, Mrs. Bermarda Serrato, Mrs.Gloria Martin, Mrs. Belen Fernando, Msr. Joaquina Barrada, Mrs. Lourdes Viri, Mrs. Adela Arcillia, Mr. Jose Cenquena, Dr.Elvira Bersela, Mrs. Purita Ocampo, Dr. Ricardo de Guzman, Mrs. Fe C. Herrera, Dr. Flora D. Cahapay is the principal of this intitution
